Young Aerospace Engineers Workshop

YAE Workshop 2024

On February 17th, 2024 from 4-9:30 pm, the Aerospace Club at the Montgomery High School will be holding its annual Young Aerospace Engineers Workshop Event for 3-6th graders (other grades are also welcome, please email us if this is the case)! We will be giving attendees the chance to experiment with hovercrafts, astronomy, physics, and rockets! This event is the perfect opportunity for middle school students to learn about the importance of engineering as well as hone their introductory aerospace skills. Dinner will be served to all attendees free of charge! If you are interested, please fill out the form below (one form per child)! The cost per child will be $50 online and $60 at the door. 


This event will differ entirely from last year, so returning attendees are always welcome! Students from all school districts are welcome!

Young Aerospace Engineers February 2023 Event Description

Montgomery High School Aerospace club is excited to announce our second annual Young Aerospace Engineers event, running this Valentine's Day Weekend (February 11th) from 4:00 to 9:30 at Montgomery High School. This event will be open to students in grades 3 to 6. If your child is interested in participating but is not in this grade range, please email us! Our workshop will give attendees the opportunities to indulge in concepts of aerospace, engineering, physics, and electricity with the use of circuits, complex crafts, and hands-on learning. As the event in 2023 will be the second annual Young Aerospace Engineers Event, the concepts will differ entirely from last year, giving returning students a brand new experience. This event is the perfect opportunity for elementary and middle school students to learn about the importance of satellites within the space industry as well as hone their introductory aerospace skills. Dinner and snacks will be served to all attendees free of charge. Whether your student is interested in engineering/science or just someone with a passion for space, this event has something for everyone.
